China'sservicesectors,includingentertainmentandtourism,sawrecoveryoverthethree-dayNewYearholidayaftertheoptimizationofthecountry'sCOVID-19policy.

AccordingtotheMinistryofCultureandTourism,thedomestictourismmarketsaw52.71milliontripsduringtheholiday,ayear-on-yearincreaseof0.44percent.Revenuegeneratedduringtheholidaywasover26.52billionyuan,up4percentyear-on-year,whichwasabout35percentoftherevenuecreatedinthesameperiodin2019,theministrysaid.

Inter-provincialtravelandlong-distancetravelrecoversinanorderlymannerduringthethree-dayholidays,thefirstholidaysinceChinaannouncedaseriesofoptimizedmeasuresinepidemiccontrolandrelaxedtravelrulesinDecember2022,datafromChinaTourismAcademyshowed.

Beijing,ShanghaiandothercitieshavealsolaunchedaseriesofactivitiessuchasNewYearconsumerfestivaltopromotetheoverallrecoveryofconsumption.ScenicspotsinmanyChinesecitieslaunchediceandsnowtourismproductsandentertainmentperformancestoattracttouristsduringtheNewYearholiday.

Themovieboxofficealsoturnedbetterduringtheholiday.AccordingtoLighthouse,anAlibaba-ownedboxofficetracker,thetotalboxofficeof2023NewYearholidayexceeded500millionyuan,asof2p.m.onMonday.Over10,600cinemasoperatedonaverageduringtheholiday,85percentofthetotalnumbernationwide.

Onlineconsumptioncontinuestoboom.DatafromMeituan,aChinesee-commerceplatformprovidinglifeservices,showedthatinthefirsttwodaysoftheholiday,theonlinetransactionvolumeofdine-inservicesinChinamorethandoubledincomparisontotheweekbefore,amongwhich,thetransactionvolumeineastChina'sJiangsuandZhejiangprovincesincreasedbymorethan230percent.

2023年元旦假期,是疫情防控实施“新十条”优化措施后的首个小长假,全国文化和旅游市场呈回暖态势。

经文化和旅游部数据中心测算,2023年元旦节假期,全国国内旅游出游5271.34万人次,同比增长0.44%,按可比口径恢复至2019年元旦节假日同期的42.8%;实现国内旅游收入265.17亿元,同比增长4.0%,恢复至2019年元旦节假日同期的35.1%。全国文化和旅游假日市场总体安全平稳有序。

都市休闲、周边游仍占主流,中远程旅游稳步复苏。元旦期间,城市周边游、近程游、休闲游仍是主流,冰雪、温泉、逛乐园、游湖、露营、围炉煮茶、酒店剧本杀、街区休闲、古镇漫游、看烟花、登山等高品质玩乐体验受到年轻人青睐。

元旦假期三天,全国影院恢复运营水平达到新高,影院营业总数都达到10600家以上,且每天的数量都在增多。其中1月2日全国营业影院总数为10657家,是2022年2月27日以来近10个月的新高,营业率高达85%。为市场复苏提供了基础。从票房上看,灯塔专业版数据显示,截至1月2日19时,2023年元旦档电影总票房达5.38亿元。

1月2日,美团发布的元旦假期消费数据显示,生活服务业正加速回暖,日均消费规模同比2019年增长75%。其中,广东、江苏、北京、浙江、上海、四川等地消费规模位居全国前列。异地消费周环比增长近五成,与本地消费一起成为激发假日经济新动能的引擎。数据显示,假期前两日,全国堂食线上交易额较上周增长超1倍,其中,江苏、浙江相关交易额增长超230%,堂食消费最旺。同时,冬季优质供给助推餐饮消费持续升温,近一周,大众点评必吃榜的主题菜品销量周环比增长664%。
